Evolution X v6.0 Snow::

• February security patch
• Added Repainter for fine tuning Monet colors
• An option to disable unlock ripple effect
• Switched to a new traffic indicator implementation
• Removed extended swipe gesture due to issues with normal back gesture
• Refactored many Evolver settings
• Toggles for disabling certain spoofs

Device changes:

• Etude kernel: Op.12 No.2
  • Linux 4.9.301 and CAF tag LA.UM.10.3.r1-00900-sdm845.0
  • removed 2 bytes of padding in network buffers
  • upstreamed generic locking/refcount from 4.14
  • ported arm64-specific fast refcount checking
  • enabled HID WACOM driver
  • wire guard 1.0.20211208
  • DO NOT use another kernel. Just don’t.
• Properly disabled surface flinger backpressure propagation to reduce jank in certain scenarios
  • we had it disabled on android 11, but a change in surface flinger property on android 12 accidentally enabled it again
• Updated parts to newer APIs like TaskStackListener and TaskInfo
  • also fixed some harmless log spams caused by SELinux
• Whitelisted an intent broadcast for the new ims.apk
• Dropped obsolete eBPF prop

Notes:

• Clean flash is recommended
• Formatting data and clean flash are required if you come from android 11. Please do not update through OTA if you are on android 11.
• Encryption is disabled for various reasons. You can keep using the latest TWRP or OrangeFox, but please follow the clean flash guide carefully.
• Dirty flash is fine from previous EvoX android 12 builds
• When switching to other ROMs, you may need to re-flash the required firmware, if the ROM you are going to flash does not include one.
