- Clean flash is recommended.
For every major release, the clean flash is mandatory !!
Clean Flash:
- Download boot.img, dtbo.img and vendor_boot.img from “A13.0 Flash-utility” folder in SourceForge.
- Reboot the phone to the bootloader.
- fastboot flash boot boot.img
- fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
- fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img
- Reboot phone to recovery and FORMAT DATA.
- ADB sideload PixelExtended_lemonade-xxxxxxxxxxx.zip
- Reboot the system. Profit.
Dirty Flash:
- Reboot the phone to recovery.
- ADB sideload PixelExtended_lemonade-xxxxxxxxxxx.zip
- Reboot system. Profit.
Rooting:
- Download Magisk.zip
- Reboot the phone to recovery.
- adb sideload Magisk_xxx.zip
- Reboot system. Profit.
